Two Physicians Joins Genesis Medical

Dr. Matthew Macken

Dr. Matthew Macken and Dr. Sunjay K. Mannan are the newest additions to the medical staff at Genesis Medical Associates, Inc., the largest independent primary care physicians group serving the Greater North Hills.

Dr. Macken will join the medical staff at the Heyl Family Practice in West View, while Dr. Mannan will join the medical staff at Northern Area Family Practice in McCandless Township.

Dr. Macken completed his residency at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital in Aspinwall.  A graduate of Penn State University and the Ross School of Medicine in Dominica, the West Indies, he resides with his family in Wexford, PA.  He is a member of the Allegheny County Medical Society, Western Pennsylvania Geriatric Society, American Society of Family Physicians and Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Sunjay K. Mannan

A resident of Monroeville, Dr. Mannan spent the past year as an Advanced Provider at the MedExpress Monroeville office and also served as an Assistant Professor at West Virginia University’s Emergency Department.

A graduate of the West Virginia University Medical School, he completed a Family Medicine Residency at Allegheny Health Network’s Forbes Regional Hospital.  Dr. Mannan is a member of American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.

Genesis Medical Associates, Inc., operates 11 offices stretching north from the City of Pittsburgh to Cranberry Township in Butler County.  Genesis Medical Associates is also a joint venture partner with Preferred Primary Care Physicians in Keystone Clinical Partners, the first physician-owned primary care practice in Western Pennsylvania to achieve recognition by Medicare as an Accountable Care Organization.
