St. Clair Health Opens New Health Care Facility in Robinson Township

Updated on May 1, 2022

St. Clair Health, a nationally recognized, integrated health system serving the residents of southwestern Pennsylvania, recently opened its newest health care facility. Located on Steubenville Pike next to Eat’n Park, the Robinson Township Multispecialty Suite is the latest in St. Clair’s efforts to bring coordinated multispecialty care and one-stop outpatient services to the suburban areas south and west of Pittsburgh.

Like other St. Clair facilities throughout the region, the Multispecialty Suite has been years in the making. St. Clair began exploring locations years ago to find a space in the heart of Robinson Township that would enable physicians across disciplines to provide a variety of high-quality health care services at single, convenient access point close to home.

“We already had offices in the area, but those practices were growing at the same time we noticed a need for better coordinated care for Robinson Township residents,” said Barry Zaiser, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, St. Clair Health. “Securing the Robinson Plaza location allowed us to support practices as they grew, and most importantly, bring multidisciplinary care to serve the community’s health care needs.”

Adds Paul Zubritzky, MD, who practices with St. Clair Medical Group OB/GYN, “St. Clair has an eye to the future, having the ability and desire to improve on health care delivery, making patients and providers equally happy, feeling cared for, and safe.”

The new Robinson Township facility is modeled after the physician offices that are part of Dunlap Family Outpatient Center on St. Clair’s main campus. That state-of-the-art facility, which opened last May, was inspired by the main facility at Mayo Clinic. Since 2016, St. Clair Health has been a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, which includes more than 40 health systems in the United States and abroad.

Designed with patient convenience in mind, the Multispecialty Suite offers easy access to the confluence of roads in the area, ample parking, and select outpatient services. The facility features nearly 20 exam rooms and supplementary spaces to accommodate primary care, OB/GYN, and other specialty physicians from the growing St. Clair Medical Group network. Plus, the entire facility is furnished with state-of-the-art equipment and flooded with natural light.

According to Michael Notte, MD, who practices with St. Clair Medical Group Internal Medicine, “The newer, brighter and larger space allows for increased teamwork and collaboration among multidisciplinary providers, which results in enhanced care and a better patient experience.” From eliminating the need for patients to visit multiple health care facilities to allowing for easier consultation among doctors, this coordinated approach to health care is invaluable to everyone.

The Robinson Township Multispecialty Suite is poised for growth, so patients in the suburban areas south and west of Pittsburgh will never have to go far to receive the personalized health care they deserve. There is flexibility within the space that will allow St. Clair to expand and adapt services over time to meet the community’s health care needs.
