For its new brochure focused on the delivery of anesthesia services in hospital, Somnia received the Gold Aster Award for a Medical Practice/Physician Group in the category of “brochure advertising.” Of the 27 companies to receive an Aster Award in the multiple page brochure advertising classification, Somnia was the only organization in the Medical Practice/Physician Group category who received a Gold score. “Our goal in creating brochures is to effectively capture the scope of our services in an engaging, informative manner so that hospital management can make educated decisions about their anesthesia delivery,” said Marc E. The 2013 Aster Awards received nearly 3,000 entries from across North and South America.  All entries are judged by industry experts and are scored on multiple criteria with a possibility of 100 total points. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal. Organizations receiving Gold Awards received a score of 95 to 99, a ranking of top 5% in the nation.
