Regis A. Singer has been named IT Director for Genesis Medical Associates, Inc., the largest still independent primary care physicians group serving the Greater North Hills of Pittsburgh.
The Moon Township resident and graduate of the Community College of Allegheny County spent the past six years with Virtual Officeware in Pittsburgh and served as the firm’s IT Supervisor for the last 3 years.
In his new role with Genesis, Singer will be involved in the development of IT policies and procedures for the group’s 11 offices stretching north from the city of Pittsburgh to Cranberry Township in Butler County. “We’ll be looking at hardware changes, standardization of work flow across the organization, as well as performance monitoring,” said Singer.

In partnership a year ago, with Preferred Primary Care Physicians, Genesis formed Keystone Clinical Partners, LLC., to become the first physician-owned organization in Western Pennsylvania to achieve recognition by Medicare as an Accountable Care Organization.
