Ohio Valley General Hospital Appoints New VP of Satellite Operations & Business Development

Ohio Valley General Hospital (OVGH) has appointed Michael Olszewski, RN, BSN, Vice President of Satellite Operations and Business Development.  Olszewski’s responsibilities will include oversight of Wound Care, Pain and Physician Medical Staff Office.

Olszewski wants to help rebrand and shed a positive light on Ohio Valley General Hospital to remove any doubt to the hospitals viability as a community resource. With his confidence and his solid background, many are certain of his success at Ohio Valley General Hospital

Olszewski, who grew up in Mt. Lebanon, graduated from Duquense University with a double major in marketing and management as well as Carlow University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Olszewski started his career at Kindred Healthcare, where he was responsible for business development in the Tri-State Area in Long Term Acute Care for nearly 13 years. His next career move was starting a new business unit with GE Healthcare in Telehealth. Olszewski was awarded Number One Salesperson nationally and was well respected amongst his peers.

When Olszewski isn’t busy with his career, he’s active in the Moon community where he currently resides. Some of the activities that Olszewski is involved with include coaching the Moon Youth Wrestling Team, golfing and fishing. .
