Monongahela Valley Hospital welcomes Kenneth Molinero Jr., D.O., orthopedic surgeon, to The Orthopedic Group.
Dr. Molinero is a Pittsburgh native, born and raised in the South Hills. After graduating from Seton La Salle Catholic High School, he received his bachelor’s degree from Gannon University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency training at Millcreek Hospital, Shriner’s Hospital for Children and Hamot Hospital in Erie, as well as UPMC Mercy. He completed his fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma at Allegheny General Hospital. Prior to entering medical practice, he trained in a limb reconstruction and computer-assisted fellowship in Melbourne, Australia.
Caring for patients across the entire spectrum of orthopedics, Dr. Molinero utilizes both surgical and nonsurgical treatments in order to provide exceptional health care, helping to improve quality of life. His vast experience includes treatment for varied forms of arthritis, sports and age-related injuries, tendon and ligament derangement, nerve disorders and fractures.
Dr. Molinero is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and has been in practice for over 10 years.
