Heritage Valley Health System announced today plans for a new Heritage Valley Medical Neighborhood in Center Township. The facility will be Heritage Valley’s eighth medical neighborhood and is part of a new development located behind the Beaver Valley Mall overlooking Interstate 376.
“Establishing this medical neighborhood with expanded services advances the vision of the Heritage Valley Board of Directors to bring a variety of health care services to the community in a high quality, cost-effective, accessible and customer-focused manner,” said Norm Mitry, President and CEO, Heritage Valley Health System.
The new Heritage Valley Medical Neighborhood will offer primary and specialty care physicians, a ConvenientCare walk-in clinic, BusinessCare, diagnostic imaging and lab draw services.
Additionally, the Medical Neighborhood will house a four-room ambulatory surgery center. Outpatient surgical services in the specialties of orthopedics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, general surgery, gynecology, podiatry, urology and pain management procedures will be offered at the new, state-of-the-art surgical center.
This will be Heritage Valley’s largest medical neighborhood location and is slated to open by early 2019. The 59,000 square foot facility is part of a 45-acre footprint called The Bluffs at Glade Path being developed by Castlebrook Development.
“We are very pleased to be able to work with Heritage Valley Health System in the development of this medical facility as part of our Beaver County project,” stated Pat Nardelli, President of Castlebrook Development.
Heritage Valley Medical Neighborhoods are currently located in Chippewa, Calcutta, OH, Edgeworth, Ellwood City, Moon Township, Robinson Township and West Allegheny. These locations provide a variety of health care services, conveniently in one location. For more information on medical neighborhoods go to www.heritagevalley.org/medicalneighborhood.
