HealthSouth Harmarville Announces New Medical Director

HealthSouth Harmarville Rehabilitation Hospital has named James Kreshon, D.O. as the hospital’s new Medical Director.

Dr. Kreshon has been at HealthSouth Harmarville Rehabilitation Hospital since 2001 and is a board certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation who completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

His specialty interests include amputee, orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation. Dr. Kreshon serves as Medical Director of Encompass Home Health at HealthSouth Harmarville and was previously the Medical Director of the hospital’s Transitional Care Unit. He has also served as HealthSouth Harmarville’s President of Medical Staff, a member of the Patient Safety Committee, President of the Medical Executive Committee, as well as other various leadership roles and positions.

Dr. Kreshon lives in the Pittsburgh area with his wife, Rose, along with their three children—Jimmy, Joey and Elizabeth. Dr. Kreshon is thankful to Rex Newton, M.D., for all of his guidance and teachings at the start of his professional career at HealthSouth Harmarville.
