Transfer center experts from TeleTracking Technologies will conduct a free two-day conference at the Scottsdale Cottonwoods Resort, March 7-8, on how to improve access to care for the critically ill and increase transfer center volume through automation.
Keynote speaker will be Daniel Ray, MD, MS, FCCP, a critical care intensivist at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Pennsylvania, who will discuss how automated transfer centers dramatically improve access to care for the critically ill. Other featured speakers include Scripps Health ( San Diego) senior project manager Michelle Tressler, RN, and transfer center director Susan Erickson, RN, MSN, as well as Chad Blakely and Lee Wallace, regional EMS director and regional EMS coordinator, respectively, at FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Pinehurst, NC.
Experts from TeleTracking’s Avanti Consulting Division will discuss best practices for enhancing transfer center performance, including the creation of an enterprise-wide “operational backbone” that lets transfer personnel manage every bed in an enterprise to reduce or eliminate diversions.
