Jennifer Lucy, PA-C, MS, LAT, ATC – Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine
Conemaugh Health System welcomes Jennifer Lucy, PA-S, to its orthopedics team. Lucy will join the practice of Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She will treat outpatients at the practice office, and assist with rounding of inpatients at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
“I ran a lot in high school and had an injury,” says Lucy. “The care I received inspired me to enter the orthopedics field. I enjoy sports medicine and helping patients enhance their quality of life and return to an active lifestyle.”
Lucy earned her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. She earned her master’s degree in Athletic Training from West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV, followed by her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
Lucy has extensive professional experience including working for the Pittsburgh Penguins Youth Hockey Camps, Pittsburgh Steelers Football Club, and the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater.
When not treating patients, Lucy enjoys traveling along the east coast with her boyfriend and running marathons.
Celena Calpin, MSN, CRNP, FNP-C, PCCN – Johnstown Cardiology Associates
Celena Calpin, MSN, CRNP, FNP-C, PCCN joins Johnstown Cardiology Associates and will provide inpatient care at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Originally from Johnstown, Calpin worked as an Registered Nurse in the United States Navy for over six years. She then worked as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Coordinator at Conemaugh Memorial where she became interested in cardiology. “The cardiology program here is impressive,” she said. “Patients do not need to leave their own community for exceptional care. We can provide it all here.”
Calpin earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and her Masters of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Illinois.
When not treating patients, Calpin enjoys spending time with her family and participating in outdoor activities.
