Mission Pharmacy Purchases St. Clair Senior Care Pharmacy Operations

Updated on July 17, 2013

Mission Pharmacy, a long-term care pharmacy provider based in Kittanning, Armstrong County, has purchased St. Clair Senior Care pharmacy from Mt. Lebanon-based St. Clair Hospital.

Already serving eldercare facilities Presby Care and the JAA, as well as others, Mission will continue to expand its reach in the Western Pennsylvania market through this second location, now called “Mission Pharmacy of St Clair.”

Shawn Nairn, RPh, Partner/Operations Director of Professional Specialized Pharmacies, LLC, at Mission, said he intends to maintain St. Clair Senior Care pharmacy’s Scott Township location and employees to better serve Mission’s current customers in the South Pittsburgh market and also to introduce Mission Pharmacy to other nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the area.
