We recently came across the organization, MASH (Marketing, Admissions Supporting Healthcare), a free, local, new healthcare networking group co-founded by Kerry Beck of Senior Living Advisors and Shandra Harcarik, RN, BSN Director of Marketing and Education of Gallagher Home Health Services.
This networking group participants have years of experience in a variety of different settings and can offer healthcare advice, products, services and positive connections in the senior community to help each other succeed and to be a resource to the citizens of our community. Participants may include anyone in the Healthcare field.
As Co-Chairs, Kerry and Shandra are not only committed to the success of their own businesses, but the success of other organizations within the group. When you attend their meetings, you will find eager colleagues, friends, and speakers that will provide meaningful information and tools to improve your business skills as well as valuable information in the community for the clients you serve. They also make sure to leave time for grassroots networking in a structured environment at meetings and events.
Their mission for MASH: To serve as a community resource for our seniors and their families as well as other healthcare professionals through education, special events, and networking. All you need to do is attend and participate. Meetings are held the last Thursday every other month at 9am with rotating sites in the Pittsburgh area.
The next meeting will be September 29th at 9am. Masonic Village Sewickley will be hosting the event. Julian Gray, Esq. Elder Law Attorney will be the speaker discussing Regulation Changes in Personal Care Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. For more information about MASH, to RSVP to this event or to speak at an upcoming meeting, contact Kerry Beck at 412-860-7516 or Shandra Harcarik at 412-722-2522.
Throughout the year, our writers feature fresh, in-depth, and relevant information for our audience of 40,000+ healthcare leaders and professionals. As a healthcare business publication, we cover and cherish our relationship with the entire health care industry including administrators, nurses, physicians, physical therapists, pharmacists, and more. We cover a broad spectrum from hospitals to medical offices to outpatient services to eye surgery centers to university settings. We focus on rehabilitation, nursing homes, home care, hospice as well as men’s health, women’s heath, and pediatrics.
This is a great idea! There are so many different networking groups but I don’t believe I have seen one specifically for healthcare. Networking groups are a great way to meet new people and learn new business ideas.
