High Schoolers and Healthcare

Updated on June 13, 2014

To our healthcare colleagues:

Do you know of any healthcare facility, program, or healthcare professional that encourages high school students to engage with patients, whether it’s through job shadowing or educational programs?

If so, we would like to hear about that program!

We are planning a special edition of Western Pennsylvania Healthcare News which will spotlight our youth and encourage them to enter careers in healthcare.

Please send us a brief explanation of what program you are aware of and we will be in touch. You can email Harvey Kart at [email protected].

This is open to high schools, community centers, doctors, clinics, nursing homes, labs, research facilities, summer camps, colleges, universities, and volunteer programs.
