Health Care Leaders Invited to Sign and Send this Letter

Updated on June 25, 2014

As you may be aware, changes to the Medicare Part D hospice prescription plan have caused patients with life-limiting illnesses to be denied payment for medications necessary to sustain their quality of life. Family Hospice and Palliative Care has prepared the letter below, and asks fellow local health care leaders to clip and send this important message to your respective U.S. House members and our two U.S. Senators from Pennsylvania. Together, our voices will urge lawmakers to come to the aid of hospice patients who may be needlessly suffering because important prescriptions were not filled. Thank you!
