Conemaugh School of Radiologic Technology Graduates Class of 2017

Fourteen students graduated in May with a Certificate from Conemaugh Health System and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Health Professions – Radiologic Technology from Pennsylvania Highlands Community College.

Graduating seniors include Carol Basore, Trevin Beyer, Nathan Burkhart, Mikayla Dively, Makayla Dunlap, Briana Franklin, Molly Hoover, Joey McCall, Schyler McClucas, Shanise Stahl, Krystal Stanczyk, Ann Taylor, and Anne Weyandt.

Makayla Dunalp received Conemaugh’s School of Radiologic Technology Outstanding Academic Award and the JRCERT Academic Excellence Award.

Nathan Burkhart received Conemaugh’s School of Radiologic Technology Outstanding Clinical Performance Award.

Edana Glessner, RT(R), staff technician at Conemaugh Richland, was presented the Outstanding Clinical Instructor Award by the graduating class for her demonstration of genuine enthusiasm towards education, the School, and the profession. Edana was selected out of 57 technologists. She also received a Certificate of Excellence Award for Clinical Educators from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

Additional awards were given during the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Student Recognition Ceremony. 

– Honors Cords were presented to Carl Basore, Mikayla Dively, Makayla Dunlap, Briana Franklin, and Krystal Stanczyk.

– Phi Theta Kappa / Beta Epsilon Omega recognition was given to Carl Basore, Mikayla Dively, and Makayla Dunlap.

– National Honor Society of Leadership and Success / Sigma Alpha Pi award was given to Mikayla Dively and Makayla Dunlap.

– The Allied Health Program Excellence Award was presented to Carol Basore.
