The Cole Memorial Medical Group and Cole Memorial Hospital are pleased to welcome Victoria Seitzinger, PA-C, to their team of hospitalists. She will begin caring for in-patients on May 2, 2016.

Victoria joins Cole Memorial with over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and Physician Assistant, specializing in a variety of medical settings including Primary Care, Intensive Care, Medical Oncology, Nephrology and care for adults with postoperative conditions.

“We are proud to add Vicki to our hospitalist team,” said Cole’s Regional Health Center Director Lori Gross. “Her excellent background and experience in providing strong evidence-based medicine so patients have the best information about their health will be very beneficial.”

She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Connecticut State College in Danbury, Connecticut and graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Yale Medical School in New Haven, Connecticut.

As part of her hobbies, Victoria completed a Master Gardner program at the University of Maryland’s Extension office.

For over 10 years, Cole Memorial has provided hospitalist services, specially trained healthcare providers who focus on caring for patients who are hospitalized. They coordinate with the patient’s primary care provider and they’re the communication link between other healthcare professionals. They often serve as the point of contact for questions, updates, and delineating a comprehensive plan of care. Hospitalists are also helpful for family members seeking the medical status of a loved one.
