The Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA) applauds excellence in nursing with its 2012 Courage, Commitment and Compassion Award. Many registered nurses go above the call of duty with an unwavering commitment to the profession. Whether in a hospital, clinic or school, chances are an RN has touched your life. Nominations are accepted through August 1, 2012.
Since 2002, the PSNA Courage, Commitment and Compassion Award has been given to an RN who displays superior professionalism and care. This award is open to all nurses in the state of Pennsylvania; nominees do not have to be a member of PSNA. Winners will be notified by September 1, 2012 and honored at the PSNA Awards Dinner on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at DeSales University, Center Valley.
“The purpose of this award is to spotlight a nurse who has steadfastly contributed both to the lives of others and to the profession,” said Betsy M. Snook, CEO for PSNA. “This is a unique opportunity for the community to honor that special nurse who has truly made a difference.”
