NBES Students Donate to Conemaugh Memorial RICN

Updated on June 28, 2012

Fifth grade students at Northern Bedford Elementary School held a fundraiser for several weeks, selling 1,600 lollipops and raising over $1,000. The students expressed interest in helping babies at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center’s Regional Intensive Care Nursery. “There was a lot of recess time given up by these students to complete this project,” says Amy Muldoon, NBES Guidance Counselor. “It was great to see all of their hard work come together and make this project successful.” The overjoyed students presented a check to Dr. John Chan, RICN Director at Conemaugh Memorial.

The Conemaugh Health Foundation (CHF) is a nonprofit, qualified charitable organization responsible for raising funds to support the programs and services of the Conemaugh Health System and its members.  Individuals and businesses, who embrace the mission of the Conemaugh Health Foundation, respond to fulfill unmet community needs especially among at-risk children, the elderly and underserved.
