Updated on June 23, 2013

Monongahela Valley Hospital’s free community Innovations lecture series featuring its physicians presenting educational healthcare talks continues with Howard Goldberg, M.D., a MVH ear, nose and throat surgeon or ENT.

Dr. Goldberg will discuss innovations in treating common medical problems affecting the ears, upper respiratory system and head and neck on Thursday, Oct. 13 at the hospital’s Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center.

He will repeat his Innovations presentation on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at the Mon-Vale HealthPLEX on Route 51 in Rostraver.

Both Innovations programs are free and begin at 6 p.m.; light refreshments will be served. Reservations are required by calling 724-258-1333.

The name of his specialty is Otolaryngology. Some of the more common conditions ENT doctors treat include sinusitis, tonsillitis, sleep apnea, ear infection, allergies, hearing loss, nosebleeds and cancer of the head or neck.

Dr. Goldberg sees patients in his offices in Monongahela and Washington, Pa., and practices advanced techniques in ENT surgery at MVH.

MVH has presented Innovations lectures each month to area residents since January of 2008. Attendees regularly submit ideas for future program topics.
